Bus Collision with Car Results in £1,300 Compensation for Motorist

A woman from Great Harwood in Lancashire, who was injured in a road traffic accident, has been awarded £1,387.80 compensation for personal injuries. 

She was traveling in her Renault Clio along Station Road, Huncoat in the direction of Whinney Hill.  The barrier at a level crossing came down to stop traffic and so she came to a stop behind a bus. The bus suddenly began to reverse and collided with her vehicle.  As a result of the collision she suffered with a whiplash injury to her neck which spread into her right shoulder.  It was estimated that this would take over 12 months to resolve.
